Tonight, I want to write about a song by the group Frontera. It’s called Coqueta, and it carries a bittersweet feeling.
The song, with its soft rhythms and heartfelt lyrics, speaks of affection and longing—of someone charming and captivating, yet perhaps out of reach. There’s something nostalgic in the way it’s sung, like a memory you can’t quite hold on to.
It’s a summer night, and with this song in my ears, I find myself reflecting on how life often passes us by so quickly. Sometimes we don’t realize the value of the things we already have.
I’m wrapped in a feeling that’s both sad and beautiful—thinking about how we’re just passing through this world. The universe is such a vast concept, one we barely grasp. And if we truly understood that, maybe we’d be less jealous, less sad.
The world we live in doesn’t even make up one percent of all of space. Yet our lives are so shaped by capitalism, by the endless race for money.
So here’s an invitation for anyone reading this:
Be kind every day to the people in front of you. We never know what someone else might be going through.
Love and let yourself be loved—always.
